The one thing that keeps this from being a '10' for me, is that you can't play it without Origin's intrusive nonsense gateway software, something people have been complaining about for decades, but which publishers have dug in their heels and insisted they all have (which means we gamers have to navigate and put up with a half dozen or more of these stupid gateways).
I just hope newcomers stick with the series long enough to experience just how good the series ultimately gets. I say 'presumably' because the options for graphical adjustment are very few. So far everything is running butter smooth on my low-mid range laptop (Geforce GTX 1650), with everything presumably cranked to the highest levels.
